Commerce Moves to the Curb: 13 Vehicles We’re Excited to See at Curbivore
Now more than ever, cities, businesses and people depend on the curb. Over the last few years, there has been an unprecedented shift in how people and businesses view and use their cities. Commerce has moved to the curb, and our new normal relies on delivery and pick up. What does this mean for the future? It’s imperative that cities retrofit curbs, sidewalks, and unused real estate into spaces that serve everyone, and that businesses and workers have the right tools to accommodate this change
Curbivore 2023 will give you the chance to see, touch and feel the technology that’s reshaping our future, as well as meet with the civic leaders and forward-thinking entrepreneurs that are ensuring nobody is left behind as we reshape our cities and businesses for the better, on March 3rd in Los Angeles.
In addition to Curbivore being an incredible place to see how the curb will continue to be revolutionized, it will also be an opportunity to see all the cool/new/futuristic vehicles companies are creating. Below, we’ll share 13 vehicles we’re excited to see this year at Curbivore 2023!

13 Vehicles We’re Excited to See at Curbivore
Pico Delivers
Pico Delivers offers stylish mopeds as weekly rentals to gig economy drivers. Pico delivery drivers can rent a variety of e-mopeds for as low as $25 per week, and the vehicle’s compact stature makes it the perfect delivery vehicle for the curb.
We’re excited to see Pico Delivers at Curbivore because this moped is eco-friendly (chargeable batteries at standard wall outlets!) and offers drivers an all-inclusive plan that includes unlimited mileage and maintenance. For delivery drivers, it’s much cheaper than a car, easier to park, get in/out of traffic and fun to drive. In addition to their moped, Pico Delivers will also showcase their two-wheeled Dazz vehicle.
Also, don’t miss out on on hearing from Pico's co-founder and CEO, Emre Ucer. Ucer will speak during the Curbivore panel titled “Going the Extra Mile - Building a World Designed for Delivery.”
Waev - GEM
Waev Inc. is an electric vehicle pioneer founded in 2021 to manufacture, distribute, market, and support the GEM, Taylor-Dunn, and Tiger brands. At Curbivore, we can expect to see two vehicles, the e2 and e4. The e2 version seats two people, whereas the e4 can comfortably accommodate four and up.
We’re excited to see this next phase of mobility not only because the GEM is so compact, but also because of all its uses. Companies and governments can use these vehicles on campuses, around an urban community, and people can use them to get around their neighborhoods quickly, go to the grocery store, and more. Why take your gas-powered, full size vehicle out when most people can do 90% of their trips in something like the GEM?
As Paul Vitrano, Senior Vice President and Chief Legal and Policy Officer at Waev points out, “Urban environments face interesting challenges when it comes to mobility. Current public transit options can be inconvenient with long routes that rarely take you directly to your destination. Micromobility alternatives like electric scooters can be fun and convenient but lack range and cargo options. When a full-size vehicle is too much and micromobilty isn’t enough, GEM is the perfect fit for urban environments with its size, speed, features and range.”
Hear more from Vitrano, who will also be speaking at a Curbivore panel titled “Charging Ahead! Sustainable New Options Powering The Movements of Goods & People”, so if you have questions about sustainability and mobility, don’t miss that panel!
Stellar Pizza
Stellar Pizza states their mission is to “spread joy in the world, one pizza at a time, with robots” but that’s not the only thing we’re looking forward to seeing with Stellar Pizza. In addition to getting massive investment from rapper, billionaire, and icon Jay-Z, Stellar Pizza is also known for using robots to churn out 50+ pizzas an hour and cooking a single pie in less than five minutes.
Don’t believe us? See Stellar Pizza in action in this video! And maybe if enough of you tweet @eatstellarpizza, we can see if they can bring Jay-Z? ;)
At Curbivore, make sure to check out Stellar Pizza’s robotic capabilities, pizza-making prowess - and enjoy some pizza yourself! They’ll be serving up robotic pizza pies during lunch time hours.
As if that’s not exciting enough, you can also hear from the CEO and co-founder of Stellar Pizza, Benson Tsai, as Tsai will be speaking at the Curbivore panel titled “Cooking Up Something New: New Tools, New Menus, New Spaces.”
Roll To
Roll To is an online marketplace for event organizers to find, contact and book mobile bars for their next celebration. From vintage vehicles and retro trailers, to tap trucks and pedal-powered coffee carts, RollTo will help elevate catering service at your wedding, birthday or corporate event with a beautiful bar on wheels.
We’re looking forward to seeing Roll To at Curbivore to discuss how they’re changing the way parties and other events are catered, acknowledging how space has become limited and compact is the way to go. Also, make sure to stop by for coffee in the morning and wine in the afternoon!
And as a special bonus, Everything Marketplaces will host a meet-up for marketplace founders from 4:30-5:30 pm in front of the Roll To mobile wine bar.
Motional
Motional is an autonomous driving joint venture formed in 2020 between Hyundai Motor Group and Aptiv. Motional is developing Level 4 robotaxis for ride-hail and delivery applications. Motional conducts autonomous deliveries in partnership with Uber Eats in Santa Monica and autonomous rides in Las Vegas through the Lyft and Uber apps.
At Curbivore, get excited because Motional will be bringing its Ioniq 5 robotaxi for you to view and experience! Motional plans on transporting public passengers in LA in the future, so get the inside scoop first at Curbivore.

BIB and AUTOMATO
BIB Technologies Inc develops modular electric vehicle storefronts fully equipped with self-contained internet, electricity, heating/cooling, and self-service payment processing tech. BIB’s flagship EV, AUTOMATO, enables companies to showcase their products and build customer relationships. BIB also integrates state-of-the-art lithium-ion batteries with a built-in battery management system, solar roof as an additional power source, and provides energy storage.
We’re looking forward to seeing how BIB is revolutionizing how and where stores want to be - can you imagine a storefront on the curb, not just for newspapers or snacks? BIB goes beyond simple, and at Curbivore, you can see it all for yourself, as AUTOMATO will be there serving two flavors of froyo as well as cold drinks.

Arcimoto
Arcimoto’s mission is to catalyze the shift away from oversized and overpriced polluters choking our roadways and planet to a sustainable transportation system of right-sized, ultra-efficient EVs we can all afford.
Beyond the name of Arcimoto’s FUV (Fun Utility Vehicle), Arcimoto goes beyond this utility vehicle with plenty of other options, including a delivery vehicle, flatbed hauler, rapid responder for first responders, an e-trike and much more. Make sure to check out Arcimoto at Curbivore to see what new vehicles they have coming out!

XOTO
XOTO manufactures smart, self-stabilizing all-electric vehicles for urban transport and delivery. Their patented self-stabilizing mechanism and front-wheel drive system create a new category of light electric vehicle that has many of the benefits of an electric motorcycle, but is safer, more affordable, and more practical to use, and does not require an M1 license to operate on public roads.
At Curbivore, we’re looking forward to seeing XOTO’s three different models of electric vehicles, how its technology works and more. Plus - it’s pretty darn good looking!
Plus
Plus Rides Inc makes light electric vehicles (LEVs) that roll, fold, and stow better than the rest. We’re looking forward to checking out several Plus models at Curbivore, as Plus is making foldable electric vehicles that are truly transportable to almost every place you can think of - including the curb! It’s no stretch to say Plus could revolutionize how we run errands or visit family and friends.
Cero
More of a bicycle fan? Cero has you covered with a customizable electric cargo bike. Need to run errands? Drop off the kids? Commute? The Cero One can do all of that and more! We’re looking forward to seeing Cero at Curbivore because of the sheer number of ways you can customize this cargo ebike, adding a platform for hauling bigger items, small or large baskets, and more.
