Micromobility
Lime’s CEO Wayne Ting announced that the company is “operating cashflow positive and free cash flow positive” in the third quarter and targets full-year profitability excluding certain costs in 2021. Wayne also announced that the company will be expanding eBike deployments and introducing a ‘3rd mode’ early next year. | Techcrunch
Lime also announced its new Gen4 scooter which is being deployed in Paris and other European cities. The Gen4 is actually Uber/JUMP developed hardware with some slight modifications like the IoT. Lime retained a few JUMP employees and had also retained some Boosted engineers after their asset and IP acquisition earlier this year. | Lime
